Artist Biography

Jennifer Hassin was born in Houston, Texas, in 1986 and currently lives in Austin, Texas. At the age of 11-years-old, she moved with her five siblings and parents to the small hunting town of Eagle Lake, Texas, where she calls home. Jennifer joined the United States Air Force in 2005 and served the majority of her service as a Dental Technician stationed at RAF Lakenheath, just outside of Cambridge, England. In 2008, Jennifer received an Associate’s Degree from The University of Maryland in Dental Assisting with a focus on Oral Preventative Care. Just one month after exiting her military service in 2009, she became a mother to her only son, Jackson, who is currently two-years- old. She is currently enrolled at Saint Edward’s University in Austin, Texas as an Art Major and works in the school's Information Technology department as a Lab Technichian. Jennifer plans to graduate in May of 2012 with a BA in Art.
